Both Old, New Films Top Blu-ray Disc Sales

Movies released to theaters only a few months ago—along with some older titles, a Paul Newman classic dating back several decades, and one TV series—topped the most recently compiled Top 10 list of Blu-ray Disc sales. For the week ending Sept. 13, Rentrak said these Blu-ray titles were the bestsellers in the United States:

  1. "The Forbidden Kingdom" (Lion's Gate)
  2. "Transformers" (Paramount)
  3. "Baby Mama" (Universal)
  4. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (Disney)
  5. "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" (Disney)
  6. "Batman Begins" (Warner Bros.)
  7. "Kill Bill: Vol. 2" (Disney)
  8. "Smallville: Season 7" (Warner Bros.)
  9. "Cool Hand Luke" (Warner Bros.)
  10. "Dark City: Director's Cut" (Warner Bros.)
