One indication of the interest in 700 MHz spectrum (see the article on the upcoming FCC auction) is AT&T’s purchase of 700 MHz spectrum from Aloha Partners capable of covering 196 million people for a price of approximately $2.5 billion in cash.
As described in RF Report for Sept. 21, 2007, Aloha Partners expanded its coverage by purchasing “C” block spectrum from LIN TV Corp. This spectrum includes TV Channels 54 and 59.
