Luxus Aviation deploys Sony signage networks to 100 private airports across United States

Luxus Aviation Marketing is installing Sony Electronics' networked digital signage solutions to 100 private airports in the United States. The combination of NSP-100 network players paired with FWD50PX1 50-inch PlasmaPro high-definition displays will deliver customized messaging tailored to the interests of the personal and corporate jet set.

Controlled by Sony’s NSP-100 network player, the plasma monitors can be continuously refreshed over standard network connections and also will provide real-time news and weather through the system's text messaging capabilities, along with promotional content. The network will be implemented and operated for Luxus by Kenilworth, N.J.-based Diversified Media Group (DMG). The network allows for an accurate advertising audit, tracking exactly what messages played where.

Installation of the new digital signage systems is planned to begin with a 10-location rollout in mid-September and will continue to a full installation in all markets by November. The first 10 locations to go live are Sikorsky Memorial Airport, Stanford, CT; Chicago Midway Airport; Hartford Airport, Hartford, CT; Hobby Airport, Houston; Long Island Airport, Farmingdale, NY; Philadelphia International Airport, Philadelphia; Northeast Philadelphia Airport, Philadelphia; Teterboro Airport, Teterboro, NJ; Lakefront Airport, New Orleans; and Louis Armstrong Airport, Kenner, LA.
