Trilithic, an Indianapolis telecommunications equipment manufacturer, has announced the release of a new digital component for the company’s EASyPLUS EAS system.
The new Visionary HD/SD Overlay System is a character generator and was designed to allow MSOs to deliver emergency alert messages, graphics and logos directly on their EAS channel in either standard or high definition. It accepts EAS alerts from the Trilithic EASyPLUS and places them on a designated cable EAS channel.
The Visionary system can also process non-emergency messages and display them as crawls or static images. It resides on the user’s network to allow remote setup and control of functions.
