Ross Video introduces CrossOver 16
By TVTechnology published
Ross Video has expanded its CrossOver series of small-format video switchers for SD and HD production with the new CrossOver 16, a 12 input/6 output frame designed for those requiring only 1 M/E channel.
The CrossOver 16 includes four assignable frame syncs with format conversion, two clip stores with animation capability, two channels of 2-D DVE for PinP and 2-D transitions, high-quality UltraChrome chroma keyer available in any keyer, three keyers, custom control macros, and a three-axis joystick.
Ross Video offers a trade-up program for existing CrossOver customers, who can upgrade their CrossOver 12 models to the new CrossOver 16 frame by simply swapping out the control panel.
The CrossOver 16 models will be available for delivery with the release of version 1.4 software at no charge, in keeping with Ross Video’s policy of free production switcher software upgrades for the life of the product.
