SDI and HD-SDI manufacturer AJA Video is featuring its Kona 2 card and lo LA at the Sundance Film Festival.
The Kona 2--an uncompressed capture card for SD, HD and dual link HD--was used to edit feature-length films and shorts.
Also, the AJA Io LA and LD FireWire interfaces are used in editing the Sundance Channel Festival Dailies that air on the indie-film channel from Jan. 24 - 29. The Io LA is designed for analog systems and the Io LD works with SDI digital systems.
HD Cinema provided the Sony CineAlta F900 HD cameras for "Me and You and Everyone We Know," directed by Miranda July.
Additionally, production and post house Different by Design (DXD) provided its services and expertise for the productions of July's film featured at the festival and also the short, "Broadcast 23."
