NBC Universal Chooses Ross Video OverDrive

NBC Universal Television Stations Division has chosen Ross Video’s OverDrive Integrated Live Production Control System for HD news production, and will use the system on several owned and operated NBC and Telemundo stations.

OverDrive was selected after an in-depth evaluation of all the available integrated live production control systems by NBCU. The system is uses the realtime LiveLink MOS interface to the newsroom editorial system. OverDrive version 5 software was introduced at NAB2007 and includes new features like integration with CG MOS-enable devices, control of Vinten robotics, and support for multiple networked OverDrive client systems.
