The FCC has posted the streamlined waiver form for broadcasters who expect to miss the May 1 deadline and want to request a delay.
Form 337 (Application for Extension of Time to Construct a Digital Television Broadcast Station) is now available online at http://www.fcc.gov/Forms/Form337/337.pdf. and in print from the Commission's Form Distribution Center. The form will also be available for filing by using the Mass Media Bureau Consolidated Database System electronic filing at www.fcc.gov/mmb.
The FCC will begin accepting the forms on Feb. 17 and both commercial and non-commercial broadcasters have until March 4 to submit their requests.
