The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded five Emmys in the Outstanding Sound Editing and Mixing categories to television programs broadcast in Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.
The company received awards for:
- “Outstanding Single-Camera Sound Mixing for a Miniseries or Movie;”
- “Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series;”
- “Outstanding Sound Editing for a Miniseries, Movie, or Special;”
- “Outstanding Sound Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Single or Multi-Camera);”
- “Outstanding Sound Mixing for Nonfiction Programming (Single or Multi-Camera).”
