Acterna intros test and measurement interface for DVB-T systems

Acterna's DTS 200 and DTS 330 remote test solutions for MPEG-2 transport streams have been enhanced with interfaces for DVB-T testing and measurement. The company's DTS 200 and DTS 330 now enable pinpoint analysis of digital video transport streams transported over terrestrial broadcasts, and provide the RF layer measurements that facilitate simple correlation between the physical and MPEG protocol layers.

The DTS 200 allows digital network operators to remotely monitor and diagnose their MPEG streams and perform test applications. The DTS 330 digital broadcast test system offers multiple combinations of MPEG 2 - both DVB and ATSC –transport stream generation, capture, stream creation and analysis. The new test platform also analyzes up to seven unique streams simultaneously across different interfaces.

The company’s complete suite of broadcast and cable network testing tools and solutions will be displayed at IBC2004 stand 8.375.
