Leitch Technology's NEXIO TXS and ITS servers, and NewsFlash editing systems will support Panasonic’s DVCPRO professional plug-in (P2) solid-state memory-based technology.
Panasonic and Leitch's partnership will allow the companies' mutual customers to streamline their workflow by expediting the movement of media acquired in the field into the NEXIO server shared storage environment.
The Panasonic DVCPRO P2 series is a next-generation IT newsgathering (ING) system that uses the P2 card as recording media. Leitch's NEXIO offers integrated applications platforms for editing, browsing and media management. The NewsFlash is a fully integrated nonlinear editing system.
