Greek national broadcaster chose Ross Synergy switchers for Olympics

ERT, Greece's national broadcaster, used the Ross Synergy range of production switchers at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.

The purchase included three Synergy 3s and one Synergy 4, each equipped with Squeeze & Tease WARP, VTR control and custom control macros with mnemonics. With the purchase, ERT now has a total of five large Ross Synergy mixers.

The switchers were used in ERT's production facilities at the International Broadcasting Center in Athens. Following the Olympics, the switchers were installed in ERT's main production and news studios.

The Synergy switchers were supplied to ERT via TELMACO, a distributor and systems integrator in Greece.
