Atlantic Video benefits from political windfall

With studio production and remote broadcast facilities and technical crews located across the country, the company has seen significant seasonal revenue.

Politicians and their allies are predicted to spend at least $1.4 billion on TV commercials leading up to this November’s congressional elections.

Atlantic Video, with remote broadcast facilities and technical crews located across the country in addition to studio production, has been one beneficiary of this seasonal revenue. The company said it had seen an increase in political clients from all parties. Among them, Atlantic Video recently worked with Congressman Rob Simmons (R-CT) to produce a series of political spots.

The company offers production management and development services from its broadcast centers in Washington, D.C., and New York City. It also operates remote cameras for live shots in Chicago, Denver, Boston and Dallas, which are connected full-time to the company’s broadcast centers.

On Oct. 6, the company hosted the first Washington, D.C., taping of “Real Time With Bill Maher,” with guests Senator John Kerry (D-MA), former White House anti-terror advisor Richard Clarke and Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL).
