AMSTERDAM—Ross Video has announced TV Skyline, one of Germany’s leading providers of broadcast and media services, has become the world’s first customer for Ross’ new Ultrix FR30, which was launched at IBC2026.

The Ultrix FR30 is a high-capacity, hyperconverged routing and signal-processing platform, offering up to 576 UHD inputs and outputs in a single frame. It brings routing, processing, production switchers and infrastructure together to help production teams simplify workflows, maximize space, and prepare for future growth.

For TV Skyline, the FR30 is the next step in a long-standing relationship with Ross and a natural evolution of its Ultrix journey.

MONTREAL—Grass Valley has announced that TV Skyline GmbH, one of Europe’s top mobile production providers, has expanded its camera inventory with the acquisition of 30 LDX 135 UHD/HDR camera systems and 2 LDX C135 compact models.

The new systems will be deployed across TV Skyline’s fleet of OB trucks and flight packs to support a wide range of high-end live productions, from sports and concerts to major entertainment events, TV Skyline reported.

This latest investment reflects TV Skyline’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality UHD/HDR workflows and staying ahead of the curve in live production, the mobile production provider said. The addition of 32 new LDX 135 camera systems expands the company’s production capabilities, delivering an advanced imaging platform with greater flexibility, improved efficiency, and native UHD support.

Grass Valley’s LDX 135 camera platform is designed for flexible, high-performance live production with support for UHD, HDR and a wide range of workflow requirements. The cameras will be used across TV Skyline’s global production portfolio.

MONTREAL—TV Skyline GmbH is taking 4K capability on the road with its announcement that it has added Grass Valley cameras to its HD OB Van fleet. The German-based company installed 21 GV cameras into its newest truck, the OB8, including 12 LDX 86N 4K cameras, seven LDX C80 Compact Premiere cameras, and two LDX 80 Premiere cameras.

The LDX 86N cameras include HDR and 3x Universe options, and provide traditional native HD/3G acquisition, as well as native 4K/UHD capture. The camera can be upgraded to LDX 86N Universe functionality with 6X HD and 3X HD/3G high frame rate capture.

The LDX C80 can switch its format from 1080i and 720p, while the LDX 80 can be upgraded with GV-eLicenses to support 1080p formats and features the Contour Equalizer for adjusting shadows, mid-tones and highlights independently. TV Skyline has already utilized the LDX C80 cameras for production during the Rio Olympics in August and the “Wagner Festspiele” in Bayreuth in Bavaria.
