                                <p><strong>FOUNTAIN INN, S.C.</strong>—Kyocera AVX has released a new web-based RF engineering tool, the Antenna Integrator Studio. It is designed to streamline, accelerate, and optimize the antenna selection and placement processes for RF engineers and, in turn, improve product quality, performance, and go-to-market timelines for manufacturers.</p><p>“Our new Antenna Integrator Studio is a powerful online tool designed to help RF engineers make smarter, faster, data-driven decisions during the antenna selection and layout process and deliver higher-quality, higher-performance wireless products,” said Carmen Redondo, director of global marketing for Antennas at Kyocera AVX. “Competing solutions often require engineers to manually select and place antennas on their digital board layout to evaluate results. The Antenna Integrator Studio eliminates that guesswork — saving valuable time — and makes it quick and easy for engineers to optimize their designs for performance or cost effectiveness and evaluate simulated performance, which helps accelerate go-to-market timelines.” </p><p>In addition to simplifying the processes, the new Kyocera AVX Antenna Integrator Studio, is also designed for easy, intuitive use. Users simply enter the PCB size and the number of antennas needed, select target frequency bands, choose your optimization priority and click “Analyze” to instantly reveal the most suitable antennas in the most optimal positions for the PCB layout, along with interactive performance charts. </p><p>Users can then analyze the results in detail — evaluating efficiency, return loss, peak gain, and radiation patterns across frequency bands — and download DXF and 3D files for seamless integration into your PCB design. </p><p>The Antenna Integrator Studio also makes it easy to order samples and begin prototyping and includes a roughly four-minute video tutorial that walks users through a workflow to further enhance ease of use.</p><p>This first version of the new Kyocera AVX Antenna Integrator Studio includes thousands of simulations of board-mounted embedded antennas.                                 <p><strong>HICKORY, N.C.</strong>—CommScope has announced that it achieved a significant milestone in 2022 by building and shipping more than 1,000,000 radio-frequency (RF) amplifiers to top cable operators in 2022.</p><p>CommScope RF amplifiers enable broadband service providers to increase downstream and upstream bandwidth capacity while supporting reuse of legacy amplifier housings and existing network spacings.</p><p>“We are thrilled to reach this milestone and demonstrate our global leadership in DOCSIS and access networks. This came at a critical time, as many cable operators are looking to evolve their networks and prepare for the 10G future,” stated Guy Sucharczuk, senior vice president and president, Access Network Solutions, CommScope. “As we look forward, DOCSIS 4.0 is the next step in the evolution of the access network. It provides higher-speeds and more sophisticated services for cable operators to offer their customers. CommScope’s integrated manufacturing and supply chain approach provides customers with assurance that we are well-positioned to meet their product needs.”</p><p>CommScope also noted it is currently evolving the RF amplifier lines to support DOCSIS 4.0, both ESD (Extended Spectrum DOCSIS) and FDX (Full Duplex DOCSIS) technologies.</p>

These coaxial-packaged amplifiers come as both low noise and gain block amplifiers able to cover frequency bands from 9 kHz to 3 GHz.</p><figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="QDqxweRZgqpafrim57aRES" name="" alt="" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/QDqxweRZgqpafrim57aRES.jpg" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/QDqxweRZgqpafrim57aRES.jpg" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div></figure><p>This RF amplifier series has P1dB levels up to 23-plus, low VSWR and are stable. Many of the designs use GaAs PHEMT semiconductors for linear performance and efficiency. The units feature noise figure levels as low as 0.5dB and high IP3 linearity up to 37-plus dBm. Single DC Positive Voltage ranges from 12-15-plus Vdc, while bias current ranges from 40-190mA. It also comes with 50 ohm hybrid circuits, which require no external matching components.</p><p>The entire amplifier portfolio from Pasternack is now in-stock and available for shipping.</p>
