                                <p><strong>WASHINGTON</strong>—The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has announced the results of the 2025 NAB Executive Committee elections, which took place at the NAB Board of Directors meeting, held June 9-10.</p><p>Collin Jones, executive vice president, Corporate Strategy and Development of Cumulus Media and president, Westwood One, was elected chairman of the NAB Joint Board of Directors. Jones takes over from Perry Sook, chairman and chief executive officer of Nexstar Media Group, who will remain on the executive committee as immediate past joint board chair.</p><p>Nick Radziul, executive vice president of Hearst Television was elected as NAB Television Board chair. Chris Ripley, president and chief executive officer of Sinclair, was elected as first vice chair. RaMona Alexander, vice president and general manager of WDBD, was elected as second vice chair and Dan York, president and chief executive officer of Cox Media Group, was elected third vice chair.</p><p>Phil Tahtakran, head of federal government affairs at NBCUniversal, was appointed to the designated TV network seat on the NAB Television Board.</p><p>Chris Ornelas, executive vice president and general counsel of Beasley Media Group, was elected chair by the NAB Radio Board. Leonard Wheeler, president of Mel Wheeler, Inc. was elected first vice chair while Allen Power, president, Broadcast Media of Salem Media Group, was elected second vice chair.</p><p>Eddie Harrell, co-president, Audio Division of Urban One was elected to the major group representative seat on the NAB Radio Board.</p><p>The elections took place at the NAB Board of Directors meeting, held June 9-10.</p>

                                <p><strong>WASHINGTON, D.C.</strong>—The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has announced the results of the 2024 NAB Executive Committee elections. </p><p>Pat LaPlatney, president and co-chief executive officer of Gray Television Inc., was reelected as NAB television board chair. Lynn Beall, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Media Operations for TEGNA Inc., was elected as first vice chair, Chris Ripley, president and chief executive officer for Sinclair Broadcast Group, was elected second vice chair and RaMona Alexander, vice president and general manager of WDBD and Corporate Programming at American Spirit Media was elected third vice chair, the NAB reported. </p><p>Keith Murphy, senior vice president and regulatory counsel at Paramount, was appointed to the designated TV network seat on the NAB board&apos;s executive committee. </p><p>The elections took place at the NAB Board of Directors meeting, held June 3-4.</p><p>Collin Jones, executive vice president, Corporate Strategy and Development of Cumulus Media and president, Westwood One, was elected radio board chair by the NAB radio board. Kevin Perry, president and CEO of Perry Publishing and Broadcasting Company, was elected radio board first vice chair, and Leonard Wheeler, president of Mel Wheeler, Inc., was elected radio board second vice chair.</p><p>Chris Ornelas, executive vice president and general counsel of Beasley Media Group, was reelected to the radio board&apos;s major group representative seat on the NAB board&apos;s executive committee.</p><p>In addition to the elections, Pilar Ramos, executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of TelevisaUnivision, Inc. was appointed to the open television board seat created by a vacancy in a seat previously held by the company. In her role at TelevisiaUnivision, Pilar leads several key functions including Law, Compliance and Government Affairs. She joined the company in 2021 while overseeing the merger that established TelevisaUnivision.   </p><p>Perry Sook continues the second year of his role as joint board chair. The position is elected every two years. </p><p><br></p>

                                <p><strong>WASHINGTON—</strong>The NAB has announced the results from its board elections, with Jordan Wertlieb, president of Hearst Television Inc., voted to serve as chairman for the NAB Joint Board of Directors. Randy Gravely, TriState Communications Inc. president and CEO, is now Radio Board’s first vice chair, and Bruce Goldsen, the president and co-owner of WKHM-AM/FM, WIBM, Jackson Works Inc., is the second vice chair.</p><p>In addition, Brandon Burgess, chairman and CEO of ION Media Networks, was appointed as the designated TV network seat on NAB Board’s Executive Committee, while Alfred Liggins, CEO and president of Urban One Inc. is Radio Board’s major group representative seat with the Executive Committee.</p><p>The elections took place during the NAB Board of Directors meeting from June 11-12 in Washington, D.C.</p>
