WASHINGTON, D.C.—Fifty-five leading-edge companies will exhibit for the first time at the 2023 NAB Show New York, held October 24-26 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, the organizers are reporting. 

The news that there will be more than 50 first-time exhibitors continues a trend of more tech companies doing business at NAB Show New York. The amount of new exhibitors is up 65% from last year.

“The strong showing of first-time exhibitors is a testament to NAB Show New York’s commitment to connecting the most relevant products, practices and people propelling the broadcast, media and entertainment industry forward,” said Chris Brown, executive vice president and managing director, NAB Global Connections and Events.

This year, NAB Show New York will feature nearly 275 exhibitors. Major brands include Avid, Fujifilm, B&H, Cisco, Blackmagic Design, Grass Valley, Harmonic, LiveU, Panasonic Connect, Ross Video, Lawo, Evertz, Telestream, Canon, Imagine Communications and Maxon.

Open to all NAB Show New York attendees, the show floor includes the return of the Cine+Live Lab, presented in partnership with AbelCine, which is the convergence of cinema technology and live broadcasting. Business and tech come together on the Tech Chat Stage, to explore what industry innovators are doing and how they are doing it. New this year and exclusive-to-NAB Show New York is the Photo+Video Lab, designed for all who leverage a hybrid mix of equipment to capture and produce content.

WASHINGTON—Hundreds of exhibitors are already signed up to return to the NAB Show in Las Vegas when it takes place in October 2021, ready for an in-person conference after a year of virtual substitutes.

NAB has shared that more than 540 companies from 31 countries have contracted to exhibit at NAB Show 2021, which is being pushed six months from its typical April dates as the world still deals with the COVID-19 pandemic to Oct. 9-13, when hopes are that vaccines will allow for mass gatherings to take place safely. NAB describes the number of exhibitors as “a significant head start” for the conference’s exhibit hall.

Among some of the early sign-ups are Adobe Systems, Amazon Web Services, Audio-Technica, Blackmagic Design, Comrex, Dolby Laboratories, Grass Valley, Ikegami, Limelight Networks, Nautel, Panasonic, Rohde & Schwarz, Ross Video, Sony Electronics, Telestream, Vizrt and Wheatstone. Initial applications make up for 330,000 square feet of exhibit space, per NAB.

Part of that return will include some new pavilions. NAB announced that the 2021 show will launch CineCentral, what it is calling a basecamp for developments in pre-production, production and post; Future of Delivery, looking at the intersection of content, marketing and technology, including distribution and delivery in media; and The Streaming Experience, a showcase of all things streaming in a interactive living room environment.

NEW YORK—Fifty-one companies will exhibit for the first time at the 2019 NAB Show New York, held Oct. 16–17 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, where attendees can explore new products and technologies through in-depth exhibits and experiential demonstrations.

The 50-plus first-time exhibitors continue a trend of innovative companies doing business at NAB Show New York, where 30% of this year’s exhibiting companies are new to NAB Show New York within the last two years.

NAB Show New York showcases emerging technology for the media and entertainment industry through unique conference programming, industry workshops and nearly 300 exhibits.

“The strong showing of first-time exhibitors in recent years is a testament to NAB Show New York’s evolution as an important catalyst in driving innovation and thought leadership in the industry,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown.

Also new to the 2019 show floor is the Pop-up Marketplace and Theater. Open to all NAB Show New York attendees, this new feature offers an opportunity to meet first-time exhibitors and attend sessions on topics such as financing new entertainment ventures, esports and Next Gen TV. Wednesday’s pop-up will center on startups, and Thursday’s event will feature technology and content pertinent to the podcasting industry.

LAS VEGAS—Google is among 215 companies that will exhibit for the first time at this year’s NAB Show, the National Association of Broadcasters announced. Other newcomers include Gearhouse Broadcast, Aeson LED Display Technologies, ALC NetworX, Sigma Corp of America, MX1, Vimeo and TiVo.

NAB Show will also feature several new technology-focused pavilions: the Facebook Live Video Solutions Pavilion; the Cybersecurity and Content Protection Pavilion; an IP Showcase; the NextGen TV Hub: Powered by ATSC 3.0; and the Connected Car Hackathon.

“This influx of new exhibitors highlights the unique position of NAB Show at the center of the convergence of media, entertainment and technology,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown.

The 2017 NAB Show exhibit floor will comprise 1,700+ companies, including 751+ international exhibitors, spread over more than 1 million net square feet of space at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

NAB Show is held April 22-27, and the exhibits will be showcased April 24-27.
