NEW YORK—The 2019 NAB Show New York will serve as one of the first opportunities for industry professionals to get a look at Digigram’s new portable IP audio codec for live remote broadcasting, the IQOYA Talk. The unit is equipped with Digigram’s Fluid IP technology for error corrections and dual streaming technologies.

Digigram designed the IQOYA Talk for ease of use, featuring a user interface designed for “non-technicals” and enabling users to perform operations like live reporting and commentary, studio-quality interviews for up to four reporters and guests, and audio content being able to be streamed through a large number of wired or wireless “last mile” connections.

Additional features of the IQOYA Talk include 11 inputs/10 outputs, an intuitive iPhone/Android hook up, three mic-line inputs and four headphone outputs and an adaptable software. Built-in connectivities are available with the platform, including dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi connectivity and a dual built-in 3G/LTE/4G module. Up to 12H autonomy is achieved through two independent hot-swappable batteries.

Digigram will display the IQOYA Talk, as well as other products, at its booth, N157, throughout NAB Show New York, taking place Oct. 16-17 at the Javits Convention Center.

MONTBONNOT, FRANCE—Digigram is intending to expand to the South Korean market and has selected Huton Digital to serve as its reseller and integrator. Huton will supply Digigram’s AQORD 4K UHD HEVC encoder and AQORD multi-HD HEVC encoder to customers in South Korea.

The AQORD encoders support 4K UHD video and can be deployed in OB vans. It is capable of handling a single 4K feed or four simultaneous HD feeds from the shooting location to the studio, according to Digigram. The unit also provides recording and streaming capabilities.

Digigram bills itself as a company that provides systems for the contribution, production and safe distribution of audiovisual content.

LAS VEGAS—At the 2016 NAB Show, Digigram will present Audio over IP (AoIP) solutions, including the Iqoya Serv/Link codec, LX-IP PCIe sound card—which bridges between the PC and AoIP sound cards—and PCX-IP and VX-IP Livewire sound cards, which bridge between radio automation and Axia Livewire networking audio systems.

Digigram’s Iqoya Serv/Link codec incorporates multiple distribution codec instances and the company's advanced Fluid IP technology on a single, hardware-based processing platform to simplify the transport of multiple audio programs (mono, stereo, multichannel) over IP in a high-density format.

The codec lets users configure multiple-stereo or multichannel solutions for links between studios and transmitters, DVB operators, or CDNs. It supports analog, AES, MADI, Livewire, or AES67/RAVENNA audio connectivity and multiple audio codecs—PCM, MPEG L2 and L3, AAC, Opus, and Apt-X enhanced—and simultaneously streams raw RTP, HTTP, and MPEG-TS/IP streams.

Digigram will also show solutions for codec fleet management, managing and monitoring codecs in the cloud, and intelligent IP middleware for AoIP contribution. A highlight for the show is Digigram’s election pack offering, engineered expressly for the U.S. elections, including the Iqoya Mobile and Q-Mic products that enable reporters to use their iOS and/or Android smartphones and tablets to cost-effectively deliver full duplex, high-quality live remote AoIP contributions from the field to a newsroom or production studio.
