Snell & Wilcox sets up special World Cup support structure

Snell & Wilcox has created a dedicated support structure for broadcasters using its equipment to deliver 2006 FIFA World Cup broadcasts.

Five broadcasters have deployed seven Kahuna SD/HD multiformat production switchers for tournament coverage, and many broadcasters also will rely on Snell & Wilcox conversion, distribution, processing, monitoring and control solutions to provide the best possible pictures in the most appropriate format.

Snell & Wilcox will offer the support in Germany from June 2 to July 9.

Support queries should be directed to:
datasupport@snellwilcox.com for file and data transfer products; videosupport@snellwilcox.com for video products; and switchersupport@snellwilcox.com for switcher products.

The 24-hour telephone support line is +49 175 9750481.
