Fairbanks gets arena video

The Carlson Center in Fairbanks, AK, will deliver a new game experience with the addition of a custom center-hung video scoreboard.

The center-hung design will feature four Daktronics ProStar displays with the abilities to display live and recorded video, animation and graphics. The video displays measure about 5ft x 7ft with pixels on 10mm spacing. The displays use RGB LED technology to present images and information with wide-angle visibility and high brightness.

The center-hung scoreboard also will include ProAd digital advertising and information displays. The displays will measure about 2ft x 13ft with pixels on 23mm spacing. When not used for ads, ProAd displays can show game-in-progress information, team and player stats, animation and cropped video clips.
