Rohde & Schwarz expands line to support DVB-H multimedia transmission

Numerous network operators recognize the potential of the new digital TV standard DVB-H. Using this DVB-T extension, multimedia content can be efficiently transmitted to mobile receivers.

The DVB-H-compatible product portfolio from Rohde & Schwarz supports the development of these new services. The digital R&S NX7000 transmitter family and the R&S DIP010 data inserter have been upgraded to integrate DVB-H into transmission operations.

DVB-H-compatible test and measurement equipment includes the R&S SFU broadcast test system, the DVRG DTV recorder generator, the DVM for MPEG-2 monitoring and analysis and the EFA test receiver.
