Polsat selects Eyeheight master control switcher

Polish television network Telewizja Polsat is controlling three channels with separate Eyeheight playout switchers.
Polish television network Telewizja Polsat has chosen Eyeheight playout master control switchers as part of a major expansion of its program output.

Three separate Eyeheight playout switchers are being used to control presentation switching — one each for Polsat Sport, Polsat Sport Extra and Polsat 2, which is available to viewers in Poland and the United States via satellite. The systems were installed at the Polsat headquarters in Warsaw.

Key to the success of the Eyeheight solution is its modularity, centered on a base configuration unit with mix/wipe module, keyer, audio/voice-over module, internal cross-point, logo-store and dual-channel 3-D DVE. These enable the mixer to be scaled up.

In its base configuration, playout comprises a 1RU chassis capable of housing up to three independent channels and offering the lowest cost-per channel of any scalable master control system.
