Pixelmetrix launches new satellite line interface

Pixelmetrix has rolled out a new satellite line interface (SLF) that offers support for multiple standards in monitoring digital satellite transmissions.

The SLF supports the DVB-S, Motorola DigiCipher II, and Turbo Code modulation, all of which are standards used to carry MPEG-2 transport streams.

The SLF is a standard DVStation family module available for the DVStation Remote Controller, DVStation DVS210 and portable DVStation Pod applications.

An ASI connector provides transport stream output for detailed TS analysis using the Pixelmetrix TSP-100 Transport Stream Processor. In conjunction with the TSP-100, the module pair can perform RF signal demodulation and a comprehensive suite of continuous RF, modulation, SFN integrity, transport stream and content validation tests.
