Modulation Sciences msi 4400 analyzes 8VSB signal parameters

Front panel indicators on the msi 4400 show the status of alarms, RF level and signal strength.

The Modulation Sciences msi 4400 8VSB analyzer delivers results interactively with a laptop computer or PC enabling remote access via the Web.

Functions include tap weight equalizer graphs, eye pattern diagram, constellation display, tunability, SNR/ MER/ EVM strip charting, signal strength metering, bit error rates, data logging, user configurable alarms and capability for zeroing or freezing the tap weights.

Packaged in a single rack unit, the msi 4400 processes the 8VSB signal using a Windows-based PC. Front panel indicators show the status of alarms, RF level and signal strength. External outputs of MPEG Transport Stream are available in parallel LVDS, SMPTE 310M and DVB-ASI formats. All are accessible from the rear panel, as are closures for alarms.
