Liberty looks to Crispin for PSIP solution


Crispin partners with LINX Pro Products to deliver a dynamic PSIP updating interface to its TVLinx software.

Liberty has installed Crispin DTV PSIP interfaces at 12 of the station group’s 15 television stations.

The dozen Liberty DTV stations include:

  • WAVE-DT, Louisville, KY;
  • WIS-DT, Columbia, SC;
  • WTOL-DT, Toledo, OH;
  • WFIE-DT, Evansville, IN;
  • KCBD-DT, Lubbock, TX;
  • KPLC-DT, Lake Charles, LA;
  • WLOX-DT, Biloxi, MS;
  • WSFA-DT, Montgomery, AL;
  • WALB-DT, Albany, GA;
  • WWAY-DT, Wilmington, NC;
  • KAIT-DT, Jonesboro, AR;
  • KGBT-DT, Harlingen, TX

The installations were completed as Liberty prepared for the Feb. 1 FCC mandated PSIP deadline. Crispin will install the PSIP interface in the remaining three stations when they go on-air by this summer.
