FastChannel enhances commercial spot intelligence

FastChannel Network has introduced its Broadcast Verification service, offering expanded discrepancy reporting intelligence. The service reports on:
The FastChannel solution actually expands the reach of the advertiser, allowing eyewitness-like awareness of the spot airing.
- Schedule issues, including missed airing, wrong spot, partial airing or rotation error;
- Quality issues, such as analog or digital artifacts, distortion, hue, saturation or luminance deviation, dropped frames, stalled picture or video drop-out;
- Execution issues, like truncated beginning or end, dropped piggyback.
FastChannel also delivers the aired spot to an advertiser's desktop through its Air View window, a side-by-side view to allow comparing and contrasting of the aired version with the distributed source version.
