XenData to highlight latest digital video archiving advancements

XenData will showcase its digital video archiving solutions designed to deliver the performance required for digital video applications at IBC2009.

Built on IT standards, XenData allows broadcasters to future proof their data and enhance video performance. New enhancements for Version 5 of XenData‘s Archive Series include:

• LTO repack allowing recovery of tape space from deleted files and enabling better visibility before performing recovery operation,

• Optimized file restores through Windows Explorer,

• Easier configuration for use with Mac clients, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Server and Sienna newsroom automation,

• Tape content reports,

• Faster performance and

• Support for 32-bit servers.
