WNIN-TV to streamline operations with Miranda branding, master control

WNIN-TV, the PBS member station in Evansville, IN, has ordered Miranda Technologies' channel branding, master control and monitoring equipment to streamline operations in its master control room.

The installation is composed of five Miranda Imagestore master control switching and channel branding processors, which provide automated and manual control of one HD and four SD channels. During live production, a Presmaster panel will enable the station to move master control operations to a secondary control point in the production area, allowing the master control operator to assist with live production, while still maintaining full control of the automated channels.

Miranda Imagestore Intuition co-processors will generate data-driven graphics templates; the co-processors will enable the station to maintain full control over the look of each channel.

All the master control outputs and off-air signals will be monitored by Miranda's iControl system.
