Wireworks unveils AV2000 HD/SDI multimedia cabling

At NAB2008, Wireworks introduced the AV2000 HD/SDI multimedia cabling for multimedia and audio/video applications, such as mobile broadcasting, post production and other integrated broadcast applications.

AV2000 HD/SDI multimedia cabling combines audio, high-definition video, serial digital interface, data and control signals in a single hybrid connector. This single connector solution simplifies setup, eliminates incorrect plugging and increases system reliability.

AV2000 HD/SDI multimedia cabling features a rugged cast metal housing that incorporates a strong cable retention design. Connectors are made of high-quality materials designed to prevent degeneration of signals. Cables are enclosed in a nylon mesh jacket to prevent damage from tangling.
