WDRB/WMYO-TV employ Centaur Exchange

WDRB/WMYO-TV has deployed Centaur Exchange HD/SD Native, enabling the broadcast of local Louisville, KY, ad spots in HD.

Centaur accelerated HD rollout at the FOX/MNTV affiliates by delivering spots in server-ready native format for direct import to the station’s HD play-to-air server.

Centaur Exchange HD/SD Native replaces tapes with a streamlined digital workflow in both HD and SD, without expensive record and playback equipment. Centaur’s Internet-based digital delivery solution eliminates the time and expense to process physical media as well as associated shipping and courier fees.

Centaur’s service uses a transfer protocol to accelerate Internet delivery and provides automated download, notification, Web-tracking and proof of receipt. Centaur-delivered HD/SD files arrive at stations in server-ready native formats, requiring no stand-alone transcoding or tape playout.
