V4x to debut OnAir Widgets for Web, mobile TV

V4x will feature its new OnAir Widgets application designed to monetize media and retain viewers of Web TV and mobile TV through interactivity at IBC2008.

Each Widget component is a visual building block that facilitates a specific viewer interaction, such as ad overlays with in-video cue points, one-click Flash sponsorships prerolls to video clips, quiz polls relating to the current program, and SMS scenarios.

The V4x OnAir Widgets toolkit offers a unified design specification, including aesthetics, to lend a sense of overall cohesion among various parts of the Web or mobile media player.

See V4x at IBC Stand M398, or visit www.v4x.com.
