vsn unveils vsnmaster automation software

At NAB2007, vsn introduced its new broadcast automation software, vsnmaster, based on Multicon from Activa Software.

The company’s vsnmaster enables full control of all devices in the master control room, no matter the selected broadcast infrastructure. The sofware controls tape libraries, subtitling systems and graphic generators, allowing multichannel operation and various redundancy levels for TV, DTT and HDTV.

The company also unveiled vsntraffic, a customizable, multidepartment traffic and management tool for broadcast planning. The software manages content, costs and ad contracts, along with playlists and rundowns for multichannel daily transmission.
