Videoframe unveils FlexGPI Tally Expander

At NAB2006, Videoframe introduced the VF0074 FlexGPI Tally Expander that can increase a matrix to 960 I/Os by accommodating up to nine expansion units.

The FlexGPI Tally Expander connects to the FlexGPI Tally Mapper via Ethernet. Each of the FlexGPI ports can be configured via software as TTL input, opto-isolated input or isolated dry contact closure output.

Multiple TCP/IP clients can connect through the FlexGPI Tally Expander to control and monitor any mix of GPI inputs and outputs using the Videoframe SIMPLE protocol. This unit also includes an SNMP agent for monitoring Tally Expander status, GPI inputs and relay output states. Relay outputs can be controlled via SNMP allowing the unit to be used as a GPI to SNMP translator.
