Umundo releases 1.0 upgrade to mobile video push-distribution platform

Umundo has released a full 1.0 upgrade to its mobile video, push-model distribution service, allowing content creators and consumers to distribute video and audio content to mobile devices.

The platform enables time-, place- and platform-shifting to deliver content, whenever or wherever users want it, regardless of the carrier or mobile device. The content is pushed to the consumer, instead of the consumer retrieving it via a search process. Content can be pushed to most types of mobile devices, including iPhones, iPods and PDAs, as well as to Web-based social networks such as MySpace and MyYahoo. The platform can also be used by advertisers to automatically push targeted pre-roll and post-roll, as well as in-roll messages to audiences on mobile and Web platforms.
