UK’s Channel 4 manages satellite bookings with ScheduALL

Channel 4 in the UK has expanded its implementation of ScheduALL operations management to streamline all satellite bookings, feeds and shift planning for its live broadcasts.

ScheduALL is an operations management solution designed to meet the fast-paced resource scheduling and business needs of the broadcast, post production and production industries. At Channel 4, ScheduALL is replacing a paper-based process for line feeds and satellite bookings that required engineers to enter data manually into spreadsheets, which risks errors and duplication of work.

ScheduALL provides an end-to-end management system to automate all of Channel 4's incoming and outgoing line feeds and satellite downlinks. The system automatically books and confirms satellite time, books and schedules production rooms and other resources, and coordinates personnel and equipment for live programming.
