Triveni Digital to showcase mobile TV extension for GuideBuilder at NAB

At NAB2009, Triveni Digital will be showing its new GuideBuilder software extension, which supplies terrestrial and mobile DTV functionality in a single platform that uses established workflows. The system reduces content providers' and network operators' costs by generating accurate metadata for ATSC Mobile TV transport streams.

The software extension enables metadata transmission to ATSC Mobile TV receivers for electronic program guides. To simplify the incorporation of GuideBuilder into existing broadcast infrastructures, the software features fully automated redundancy, support for centralized PSIP generation and tight integration with multiplexers, traffic systems and automation systems. In addition to supplying information about current shows, durations and ratings, GuideBuilder’s mobile TV enhancements also supply parental control data.

See Triveni Digital at the NAB Show, Booth SU3402, or in the ATSC Mobile DTV Pavilion, Booth C8546.
