Triveni Digital enhances GuideBuilder

Triveni Digital has added centralized PSIP generation and redundancy capabilities to its GuideBuilder product.

The GuideBuilder enhancements give broadcasters flexibility in system design and confidence in the continuity of PSIP data (metadata) in the digital signal, thereby ensuring compliance with FCC regulations and facilitating uninterrupted delivery of full-featured DTV transmissions to viewers.

Triveni Digital's GuideBuilder system provides operational capabilities for both content providers and network operators by generating accurate PSIP data. The FCC mandates PSIP data. It forms the foundation for ATSC DTV transport streams and is important for digital cable carriage of over-the-air (OTA) broadcasts. Triveni Digital will show the enhancements at NAB2007.
