Tiernan announces TDR4400 decoder

Tiernan has released the TDR4400, its latest MPEG-2 and AVC (MPEG-4) HD and SD decoder.

The TDR4400 is available in several configurations designed to suit any decoding requirement. The TDR4400 complements the Tiernan AVC4000 series of AVC (MPEG-4) encoders.

Combined with the AVC4000, Tiernan offers an MPEG-4 solution with total end-to-end latency of less than one second.

The TDR4400 supports all common HD and SD video formats, including composite NTSC, PAL and serial digital SDI for SD, and HD-SDI and component video for HD. It also automatically senses either MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 AVC.
