The Foundry to introduce Nuke 5.1

The Foundry will unveil Nuke 5.1 and Ocula, the company’s stereo plug-in toolset, at IBC2008.

Nuke 5.1 offers new 64-bit capabilities as well as optional 64-bit plug-ins, including Furnace, Keylight, Tinder and Tinderbox 1, 2 and 3 plug-ins. Other updates include a PLE, support of the FBX 3-D interchange format, and an extended bicubic card that provides greater control over shape.

The Foundry also will release its debut set of plug-ins for Apple Final Cut Pro. FCP 6 users will be able to purchase Keylight and Furnace, accessing the company’s motion estimation and keying technology for the first time.
