Telairity to showcase BE8000 H.264 HD encoder

At NAB2007, Telairity will make the North American debut of its BE8000 broadcast encoder platform for HD AVC/H.264 video compression.

Occupying 1RU, the Telairity BE8000 is a scalable, fully programmable broadcast encoder for HD video compression using the Main Profile Level 4 H.264/AVC standard.

Delivering real-time performance, the BE8000 features software-upgradeable AVClairity compression. The BE8000 accepts 720p and1080i (4:2:2) uncompressed HD video and up to four channels of embedded HD-SDI audio inputs.

The system also features MPEG-4 AAC audio encoding for the highest quality audio at the lowest compressed bit rate.
