Up to 6.1 surround panning is available, and the optional IF-SM/DM surround monitoring interface card adds multichannel monitor and down-mix capabilities.

Other new products include:

  • The VL-X5 home studio monitor powered speaker system – features 5.25in woofers, silk-dome tweeters and a 60+30W bi-amplified active power amp.
  • The MD-CD1 - combines CD playback and MiniDisc recording in a 1RU design.
