Sumners buys VCube HD 2K player/recorders


The VCubes have dramatically increased the efficiency of the post house’s Davinci 2K grading suite.

Sumners, a Manchester post-production house has added two Merging Technology VCube HD 2K hard disk based high-definition video player/recorders.

Capable of uncompressed 1920x1080 high-definition video resolution and more than 30 different SD/HD video formats, the machines were supplied by the company’s United Kingdom distributor Total Audio Solutions and integrated into the a Davinci 2K Suite by TAS business manager Paul Mortimer.

The VCubes have dramatically increased the efficiency of the post house’s grading suite.
