Sonus Networks brings wireless support for multimedia with latest platform

Sonus Networks has released the latest version of its IMX Multimedia Platform, IMX 2.0, which adds support for wireless, video and other multimedia services.

IMX 2.0’s graphical user interface and wireless and mobile video services enable operators to expand the use of their IP/MPLS networks and bring advanced applications to consumers and enterprise users. The IMX platform is part of Sonus' IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architecture, aimed at helping network operators manage their next-generation networks. It can be integrated in any IMS-based network and is optimized for Sonus' network architecture. It supports a broad range of applications and devices that are interoperable with Sonus' platform, while providing a solid foundation for the support of wireless and video applications.
