Snell & Wilcox to demonstrate iCR content repurposing system at World Mobile Congress

Snell & Wilcox is bringing its iCR automated content mastering and repurposing workstation to the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona this month. Broadcasters, among other users, can use the workstation to repurpose SD and HD content for such value-added services as mobile TV.

The iCR solution, based on open architecture and standards, allows users to ingest SD and HD content at high standards of reliability and quality, create digital masters and proxies, add technical and business metadata and repurpose content for such revenue-generating distribution platforms as mobile TV. It includes real-time quality control tools that automatically verify both baseband and file-based content and is available as a standalone workstation or an enterprisewide solution.
