SGL to introduce latest version of SGL FlashNet

Software Generation Ltd (SGL), will debut the latest version of SGL FlashNet, part of the company’s FlashNet Archive Management Suite. SGL is an integral part of the media asset management solution adopted by video server, automation, NLE and asset management vendors worldwide.

The company will feature FlashNet6, SGL’s redesigned architecture that provides a scalable solution with unlimited storage capacity, redundancy and resilience. Available on the Microsoft Windows SQL platform, SGL FlashNet6 with Microsoft Clustering technology is fully scalable.

SGL will also spotlight StorageManager, an extension to SGL FlashNet’s functionality. SGL StorageManager allows broadcasters and content providers to apply lifecycle rules to move, copy and manage material within the archive storage.
