SAMMA unveils Robot version 2.0, Solo

SAMMA Systems highlighted three new capabilities designed to enhance performance for anyone needing to migrate videotapes to digital files for archiving or reuse in multiple revenue-producing formats at IBC2008.

They include:

• The SAMMA Robot and SAMMA Solo have been updated to version 2.0 and can now deliver a streamlined workflow by offering additional simultaneous file outputs.

• Additionally, easy presets of common file types are now standard on both the Robot and the Solo.

• Separately, SAMMA Systems has also developed new capabilities to archive HD video content and upconvert SD video to HD when migrating videotapes to digital files.
