Ross Video unveils new Synergy SD features


New Synergy SD hardware includes a new control panel CPU, keyboard support and USB removable storage.

Ross Video rolled out several new features for the Synergy SD digital production switcher at NAB2005.

Among the new features: new effects, operational features, control capabilities, some hardware upgrades and support for the latest version of OverDrive.

New hardware features include a new control panel CPU, keyboard support and USB removable storage. The company has added new Squeeze and Tease WARP effects, including corner pinning, lens flare, obscure and shards. An automatic white flash effect also has been added.

The new control interfaces include: robotic cameras, audio mixers, character generators and support for numerous additional manufacturers products.
