Ross Video to introduce OverDrive version 9.0

At next month’s IBC show, Ross Video will introduce version 9.0 of its OverDrive automated production control system. The new version includes applications for news, sports, worship and live event productions.

A key feature is the GlobalView GUI. GlobalView leverages the additional work area offered by widescreen touch displays and features modules that can be resized or repositioned to suit operational or production requirements. User-configurable rundown columns can be positioned to highlight discrete device channel status or additional information such as newsroom system timers and shot information. GlobalView comes standard with two different color schemes that can be modified by the user.

In addition, OverDrive v9 offers one-touch creation to playout MOS workflows with eight major graphics systems, including the new Ross XPression system and a MOS LiveLink interface to the Dalet newsroom system.
