ROOT6 Technology add transcoding feature for ContentAgent-XR

ROOT6 Technology will demonstrate version 2 features for its universal encoding platform, ContentAgent-XR, at NAB2006.

New features include the transcoding of massive 4K resolution DPX film files, which can be 75MB per frame in 16-bit RGB, into all commonly used manageable file formats for Digital Intermediate workflow.

ContentAgent-XR is designed for encode-intensive workflows encountered in broadcast, post production and film environments and is composed of dedicated, rack-mounted hardware running embedded Windows XP.

A new user interface, designed specifically for non-technical operation, provides a toolset for handling every aspect of digital media file acquisition, conversion, management, output and distribution.

See ROOT6 Technology at NAB2006 in booths SL 1600 and SL1513, or visit www.root6technology.com.
