RFS wins UHF expansion deal for Vietnam

Vietnam national television broadcaster Vietnam Television (VTV) has selected Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) to provide the complete RF systems for expansion of the country's analog television network.

Consisting of upgrades to 12 existing VTV sites, the project will extend coverage of the country's science, technology and education channel, VTV2, and its sports and entertainment channel, VTV3, nationwide.

Selected in open tender, RFS will supply complete end-to-end passive broadcast solutions, composed of broadband UHF and VHF antenna systems, UHF channel combiners, RFS HELIFLEX flexible air-dielectric coaxial transmission line, patch panels, plus rigid transmission line and RF accessories. The company will also be fully responsible for RF system design, site commissioning and training of VTV personnel.
